Salesforce Marketing Cloud
DataGuard Support sets up this integration for youThis guide shows you what to prepare in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and which details to send to DataGuard Support.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is a digital marketing platform for personalised campaigns across email, mobile, social and web. The SFMC integration syncs consent and preference data from DataGuard CPM to your SFMC Contacts, so your campaigns always reflect what your customers agreed to.
Prerequisites
- Access to the DataGuard CPM Platform.
- Administrative access to your Salesforce Marketing Cloud account.
If you don't have access to the DataGuard CPM Platform, please contact us.
Prepare your Salesforce Marketing Cloud account
Step 1: Create an Installed Package
- Log in to Salesforce Marketing Cloud and open Setup.
- Go to Platform Tools > Apps > Installed Packages.
- Click New, enter a name (for example "DataGuard CPM Integration") and a description, and save.
- Under Components, click Add Component and choose API Integration. You can only have one API Integration component per package.
- Enable the scopes for Channels, Contacts and Data, then click Save.
SFMC generates a Client ID, a Client Secret and the Authentication, REST and SOAP Base URIs. You will need them later.
