Integrations

Integrations keep your consent and preference data in sync between DataGuard CPM and the other tools you use. When a citizen gives, changes or withdraws consent in CPM, the update is sent to your connected systems automatically.

Available integrations

IntegrationWhat it does
BrazeSyncs citizens' permissions to Braze subscription groups and their preferences to Braze custom attributes.
MailchimpSyncs citizens' permissions to the subscription status of members in your Mailchimp audiences.
Salesforce Marketing CloudSyncs consent and preference data to Contacts in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

How to set up an integration

DataGuard Support sets up and changes these integrations for you.

  1. Follow the guide for your integration to prepare your account in the third-party tool (for example, creating an API key).
  2. Collect the details listed in the What to send DataGuard Support section of that guide.
  3. Contact DataGuard Support (see below). Support will collect your details, create the integration and confirm when data has started to sync.

To change an existing integration, such as rotating an API key or changing a mapping, contact DataGuard Support in the same way.

Self-service setup

We are working on a way for you to create and manage integrations yourself in the DataGuard CPM UI. This page will be updated when it is available.

Contact DataGuard Support

DataGuard Technical Support will help you set up your integration. Contact them at [email protected], with the name of the integration and your CPM Application ID. Support will then get back to you to collect the details listed in that integration's guide.

Build your own integration

If the system you want to connect is not listed above, you can build your own integration using the DataGuard CPM API and webhooks. See:

Integrations you set up yourself

These integrations are set up by you and do not need DataGuard Support:
